Meet Carlie Flett, the Brains Behind Ms Biz Fixit
With 20 years of experience in corporate and 10 years in small business management, Carlie has the skills, experience, and strategic insight to identify the efficiencies that optimise and streamline a business.
Carlie started her career as a business analyst in a major telecommunications company, where she focused on project management, process improvement, and business continuity. Here, she spent many years honing her ability to analyse business needs and develop strategic solutions to improve systems and strategies.
A New Approach to Business
In 2015, Carlie sought out a different model of work that allowed her the flexibility to focus on her family, while continuing her career. She began working for small businesses, focusing on process optimisation, file management and templates, CRM administration, and integrating offshore staff. This move to a more personal business setting ignited her passion for helping entrepreneurs to thrive.
Embracing Givers Gain® with BNI
Keen to engage with other small business owners and share her expertise, Carlie joined the networking group, BNI, in 2017 and took up the role of BNI’s Operations Manager in 2021.
Carlie’s experiences with BNI highlighted her talent for spotting simple, high-impact changes that can help businesses run more smoothly and efficiently. Through her extensive experience, she found herself able to make recommendations that many small business owners were unable to identify themselves. This led to the launch of Ms Biz Fixit in 2023.
